Memories with Michael Jackson

I'd start to listen to Michael's songs since I was very small. Well, this is because of my mother and my aunt is a big fan of Michael Jackson.

Flash back to 1990s, i was about four or five years old on that time, always sit at the front of television just to watch Michael Jackson. Thanks to both my mom and aunt, I can still remember there is a MV of Michael that he dance non-stop on a black-creepy street at night, then till the end he crawl and turned into a black leopard. Well, it's kinda hard for me to forget this part because it does really amazed me!

The King of Pop - Michael Jackson, he really deserves this title! He is a legend, especially for the black. He is a legend, especially in the music industry. He is a legend that he created moon walk and all others unique dance steps which are hard to replicate by others. I believe he is a good man. His big warm smile always appears in my mind when I’m thinking of him. Even though he is an internationally or globally recognised pop star, but he never pride on this. However, he was doing amazing, selfless things - contributing to children's charities and starting his own Heal The World Foundation. Besides, he also was cowriting the famous We Are The World song to help African Famine victims. He was everywhere, giving as much as he got and letting us all know how blessed he was.

Sadly, I believe there are people who envy towards his successful and was trying hard to hit him down. He did plastic surgery on his face, and especially his nose for a few times, the changes of his skin colour, brought up a lot issues to him. Then, the news of child molestation charges come to light. His career path started to drop since this. From the day the news appears till now, I still couldn't believe he will do this to children. I believe he DID NOT do it! He loves children, even more than certain parents' love towards their own child! Rumours come when someone is on the top; and rumours destroy someone who is on the top. After all these hurtful and painful alleged, he started to disappear from public. On the day he shows up at the court for the molestation charges, a mass changes can be seen from him. He looks weak and tired. He was pleaded not guilty on the charges. Thank Gods!

In the early March of this year, he has announced of his comeback which he calls it as “final curtain call”. He reported to his die hard fans around the world that he would perform ten days stage show having a large arena over 20,000 capacities in London starting on 8th July. The show is about to take place at 02 in Greenwich, southeast London. He has planned to wear military-style black jacket decorated with silver sequins in his favourites own style of costume. This 10 day concert will mark the 25th anniversary of his great and ever best sold album “Thriller”. He said that this would be his final stage show in London.

Just a few months later, 25 June 2009, the news of his dead shocks the entire world. It is sad, unexpected and unacceptable. Sigh...I still can't believe the news. Few weeks ago i just talk about him and listen to his song with someone. And now he is gone, gone forever.

*You know we love you Michael Jackson, now and forever. I salute you, for everything you gave to this world. May you rest in peace.
